One of the champagnes I misjudged most gravely during my entire career. The first three times I was incredibly disappointed with potential points around 85 at best. Grassy, thin and light sulfur scented as a good standard champagne and far from all Comtes vintages I have tasted. Suddenly something happened and the classic buttery richness and sweet citrus tone came into play. No heroic Comtes, but as usual, delicious.
